I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings

The free bird leaps
on the back of the wind
and floats downstream
till the current ends
and dips his wings
in the orange sun rays
and dares to claim the sky.

But a bird that stalks
down his narrow cage
can seldom see through
his bars of rage
his wings are clipped and
his feet are tied
so he opens his throat to sing.

The caged bird sings
with fearful trill
of the things unknown
but longed for still
and his tune is heard
on the distant hill
for the caged bird
sings of freedom

The free bird thinks of another breeze
an the trade winds soft through the sighing trees
and the fat worms waiting on a dawn-bright lawn
and he names the sky his own.

But a caged bird stands on the grave of dreams
his shadow shouts on a nightmare scream
his wings are clipped and his feet are tied
so he opens his throat to sing

The caged bird sings

The passion fades and it better be something to
take it’s place ( love ) .

I’ve learned that sometime you have to consider the people

I’ve learned that sometimes when I’m angry I have the
right to be angry but that doesn’t give me the right to be cold hearted.
I’ve learned that real love continue to grow even over the
longest of time.
I’ve learned about me over time through life hard lessons

Countdown ’til Daddy Comes Home is made into an entertaining educational children’s book.  That I strongly recommend, if you have a family member in the military. This is a great reading book with a lot of positive story-lines, to assure kids that they are not alone in this difficult separation time.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading “Where’s The Love” book by Emma Isabella Hunter. Ms. Hunter does an excellent job of simplifying the complexities of the dating game, real relationship and self-worth journey.This book is an great read  for women and men . Who are  looking for the right relationship without loosing yourself !
